Privacy Policy
I64 Verify issues, hosts, and verifies digital credentials for participating organizations. This page describes what we collect, why, and how to opt out. We try to keep the policy short and accurate.
What we collect
- From recipients: name, last name, email, the event you joined, and your role or track. Captured when you register or when an event organizer adds you.
- From organizations applying for free credentials: organization name, contact email, contact name, event name, and the details you provide on the application form.
- From visitors: when you open a credential page or click a link, we record the IP address, user agent, and referer in our audit log so we can detect abuse and keep the service running.
Why we collect it
- To deliver your verified credential by email.
- To render your credential page when someone you share the link with opens it.
- To keep an audit log of credential views and admin actions.
- To respond if you contact us through the application or contact form.
What is public
Each credential has a public URL of the form https://verify.i64.in/cert?id=<id>. Anyone with that link can see the recipient name, the credential title, the issuing organization, the event, the issue date, and the credential ID. This is the point of a verifiable credential. You control who you share the link with. We do not list credentials publicly anywhere else; there is no directory or sitemap.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run ads.
- We do not share data with third parties beyond the providers below.
- We do not track email opens and we do not embed analytics scripts on credential pages.
Service providers
We use third-party service providers to operate the service, including hosting, email delivery, and content delivery. These providers process data only on our behalf and only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell or share data with anyone else.
Cookies and tracking
We do not set cookies for tracking. The verify and forms sites store one local preference, your dark or light theme, in your browser’s local storage. That value never leaves your device.
Retention
Credential records are retained for the lifetime of the credential so that future recipients of a shared link can verify it. Audit log entries are retained indefinitely for fraud detection. If you ask us to delete your data, we will remove your email and contact records within a reasonable timeframe; the credential row itself will be removed as well, which means the credential URL will stop resolving.
Opt out and deletion
- Stop receiving emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or write to hello@i64.in.
- Delete my credential: email hello@i64.in from the address on file, or use the contact form. Include your credential ID if you have it.
Children
This service is for credentials issued to adults and to participants in events run by partner organizations. We do not knowingly accept credentials for children under 13. Organizations issuing credentials are responsible for any age-related compliance for their event.
Changes
If we update this policy, the date at the top of this page changes. Material changes will also be noted in the audit log.
